Our Missouri acreage is located in Linn and Sullivan counties, which are located one county below the state of Iowa, in the middle of the state.
The terrain is gentle rolling hardwood timber with long wooded draws that run for miles. These properties have been predominantly pasture ground in the past. The cattle are gone and the pasture has been converted to crop land and green fields.
To improve cover and bedding areas, 150' switch grass buffer strips along the wooded draws.
The great things about our Missouri hunting properties are:
- It gives rifle hunters a great rut rifle experience.
- Has a September bow season opener for those that prefer to hunt in the early season.
- The turkey hunting on these properties is superb.
The Missouri properties are very remote and the county access roads leave a lot to be desired, but most properties are within a 15-20 minute drive of each other. |
